Sorry, you don’t actually hate the drink you think you hate
Sometimes I truly cannot believe how dead-set people can be on hating a particular beverage.
“I won’t do gin.”
“I can’t stand ciders.”
“I’m just not a wine drinker.”
It makes my heart hurt. And they’re missing out. Because they’re wrong.
Here’s the thing. I have found, time and time again, that people are just telling themselves that they hate this or that drink. They’ve programmed themselves with a negative reaction. Most of the time, it’s all because of one distinct experience from long ago that they’ve never been able to let go of—and now they won’t give things a second chance.
The good news is, it doesn’t have to be like this forever. In fact, I’ve personally converted several people over to the wonderful world of gin. It’s how I help to make the world a better place.
