You surely have a drink that you love to hate. Well, get over it.

You surely have a drink that you love to hate. Well, get over it.

Sometimes I truly cannot believe how dead-set people can be on hating a particular beverage.

“I won’t do gin.”

“I can’t stand ciders.”

“I’m just not a wine drinker.”

It makes my heart hurt. And they’re missing out. Because they’re wrong.

Here’s the thing. I have found, time and time again, that people are just telling themselves that they hate this or that drink. They’ve programmed themselves with a negative reaction. Most of the time, it’s all because of one distinct experience from long ago that they’ve never been able to let go of—and now they won’t give things a second chance.

The good news is, it doesn’t have to be like this forever. In fact, I’ve personally converted several people over to the wonderful world of gin. It’s how I help to make the world a better place.

Anyway, check out my tirade on the subject, with a breakdown of the three distinct mindsets that will keep you from finding your new favorite drink:
