360XQ Day 9: The Piña Chapala
I hope you've all been having a really great Navidad, friends.
Today I did exactly three things: 1. Wrote, 2. Got lots of sunshine, and 3. Enjoyed beverages.
I present to you my latest creation for imbibing under sunny skies: the Piña Chapala.
This frozen, citrus-laden, warm-weather concoction will keep you all sorts of refreshed. It did not turn out exactly right as prepared, so I'm adjusting the recipe to where I think it will best shine. Let me know if you improve upon it.
- 1 pineapple
- 1 mango
- 3 limes
- 1/2 serrano chile
- 750ml (25oz) tequila plata
- 235ml (8oz) water
Chop the pineapple and mango. Mince the chile. Juice the limes.
Pour all above ingredients, plus tequila and water, into blender. Blend.
Stir. Scoop into salt-rimmed glasses and enjoy.
